How to install ONLY the application that you want to BlackBerry without checking for device application updates

"Can’t I only install the app that I want and NOTHING else?"
Have you said this to yourself? Well, I also did.

When you want to install an app through the Application Loader on Desktop Manager it is first “Searching for available device software”.

Well, I don’t want it to. And I don’t want it to install any updates. If you also don’t; or just want to install your app in a lesser amount of time, then follow the steps below.

Go to the folder where you installed the BlackBerry IDE and then go in to the bin folder. That is where the javaloader program is located.
(You can actually add this folder to the PATH variable and just call the javaloader from anywhere you want.)

Using this proggie, we will load our application by executing this command:

javaloader -u load <pathToApp>

I am setting -u as parameter since I want the loader to use the existing USB connection.(Check that the Desktop Manager is connected before you execute this command, else it will fail)
You can load a .cod or a .jad file.
Of course, there are other options available to use with this tool. Just execute "javaloader /?" to get information about them.

D:\Program Files\Research In Motion\BlackBerry JDE 4.6.0\bin>javaloader -u load "C:\Documents and Settings\user\Desktop\DemoApp\DemoApp .cod"

RIM Wireless Handheld Java Loader

Loading DemoApp Done

The phone will restart itself and there you go…(It seems in some cases it doesn’t restart?)
You will have your application in the Downloads folder.
